Entry to Reception Class
Norfolk County Council oversees the admissions process until the end of the Autumn Term in the year of entry to school. After that, the school manages the process.
If you wish to apply for a place in the Reception Class at St Francis, please complete and return the Supplementary Information Form below by January 15th of the year of entry. If your child has been baptised, the school will also need to see an original baptismal certificate.
This is required to enable us to place each applicant in the correct category for entry as detailed in our Admissions Policy.
Failure to return the form by January 15th or to provide complete information may result in your child being placed in a lower category than he/she would otherwise be placed.
It is essential that you also complete an application form from Norfolk County Council and return it to them directly by their closing date. Details and online application forms are available at

Entry to Other Year Groups
Please complete a Supplementary Information Form and return it to the school office. We will also need to see your child’s original baptismal certificate, where appropriate. We are a popular school and are currently full, but we are happy to discuss your application and hold your form on file. When places become available, the school will apply the criteria listed in our Admissions Policy and contact parents to confirm that the place is required.
In the Summer Term, the school will contact parents to ask them to complete a Waiting List Renewal Form to register their continuing interest in a place at St Francis. If no completed form is received, the school will remove the application from the file.
Visiting The School
The school welcomes visits from prospective parents and their children. Due to numbers of applications for the Reception Class, we arrange dates for group visits in the Autumn Term prior to the closing date for applications.
